Established in 2014, the Markham Revolution Volleyball Club is a competitve volleyball club for boys and girls between ages of 9 and 18, created to assist these atheletes with the development of indoor and beach volleyball skills. The club is a member of the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) and is based in York Region and easily accessible for athletes in Vaughan, Richmond Hill, North York, Thornhill and Markham. The club is a registered not-for-profit organization.
Markham Revolution offers:
- indoor and beach volleyball skill development clinics and camps;
- indoor and beach volleyball development programs for youths;
- houseleague indoor volleyball programs; and
- indoor rep and select volleyball programs competing in the OVA tournaments, OVA Provincial Championships and National Championships.
Markham Revolution is headed by Lennard Krapp, who has been involved in the international volleyball scene for over 25 years and has amassed an extensive resume in this sport, including roles as the former head coach of the German Developmental Program (1997-2008) and the former head coach of the Canadian Beach National Team (2009-2012).
